From Edinburgh follow signs to Forth Road Bridge follow the A917 to Anstruther Elie & St Monans.
From Dundee and St Andrews take the B89131 inland road to Anstruther, Elie & St Monans.
Kirkcaldy is the nearest main line station with direct links from Edinburgh and Dundee . It is possible to catch the X60 bus service from Kirkaldy to Anstruther which runs hourly Monday to Saturday.

From Driftwood Cottage, St Monans or Bank Street, Elie
St Andrews Town Centre is only 12 Miles from both houses. Driving times are between 15 and 20 minutes depending on the time of day. Join A915 at Largoward and the road runs straight to the Town Centre.
There is a regular Bus Services X60, X50 or 95 that take approx. 40 minutes. Alternatively Taxi's will cost around £20.
From Melville Terrace, Anstruther
Anstruther is slightly closer. Driving times are between 10 and 15 minutes depending on the time of day. Join the B9131 at the COOP and its a straight road all the way.
The X60 is the fastest and most regular bus service taking approx. 30 minutes. Taxis will charge between £15 and £20 depending on the time of day.
Its worth noting that if there are 4 or more of you traveling then a Taxi will cost less than the bus service and its a lot quicker.
Finding Driftwood Cottage - St Monans
Approaching St Monans from St Andrews direction, on entering St Monans turn second left into Station Road. Travel straight down and turn right into West Street. Narrow Wynd is located straight ahead.
Finding Bank Street - Elie
Approaching Elie from Park Place, turn right into Bank Street number 4 is at the start of the road on the left hand side.
Finding Melville Terrace - Anstruther
Approaching Anstruther from the St Andrews direction, on entering Anstruther continue over the first two mini roundabouts and turn left at the third into Crail Road. Mellville Terrace will now be on your left.
